A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas

Psh, and I was worried that SJ Maas wasn't going to pull through on this new series while in the middle of the other wonder Throne of Glass Series. I was SO wrong. I loved every bit of this book and right from the last page I knew one thing...

I needed book two.

So I hopped on my computer to look for book two's release date, and you know what it said? Let me give you a hint. May...of 2016. How am I supposed to wait this long?! I mean I know she had Queen of Shadows coming out in September I believe, but...Fayre...and Tamlin...and Rhys...Lucian...all my character family.

I loved each of them in different ways, Fayre was strong and quick minded to doing what was right maybe not for others, but she looked in the end at the big picture. It is easy to see why from the beginning Tamlin and her butted heads for a while, while Lucian:) sat back and enjoyed the show with the slight Beauty and the Beast feel we got in the beginning.

“I threw myself into that fire, threw myself into it, into him, and let myself burn.”

It is not only for the fun and twists though, but this books romance is something else. Bring on the bit of steam- wait no, keep it coming! Because you know what, I also have to love the fae. Seriously, can this author not write fabulous men?

I would like one of each, please.

It was such an impressive world that SJ Maas built. Everything was so rich and full of magic, yet still so perfectly different from her other book series. All the lose ends where tied up beautifully with still great questions and lead up wanting to bring you to continue the series that I have no idea where will take me yet, only that I am going to be there to read it when and wherever it does to delve further into this world.

I loved this book so much. So many books I have been waiting for and all books by Sarah definitely have been on the list. All I know is that this is a definite favorite for the year so far and I think it is going to stick there with the rest of the greats.
